Modified (cross-linked, stabilized and pregelatinized) food grade starches. They are resistant to changing cycles of freezing-thawing and increase the shelf life of finished products at low-temperature conditions. They increase the viscosity of the finished product and improve its consistency, provide resistance to acids and intense mechanical stress.
