The butter is made from cocoa beans that grow on the evergreen Theobroma cacao tree in South America.

Cocoa butter contains several fatty acids:

- arachidonic, which protects against bacteria and the development of pathogenic microflora;
- stearic, with a softening effect;
- linoleic, nourishing hair and skin;
- lauric and palmitic, which have healing properties;
- oleic - the strongest antioxidant.

Currently, the product is created by cold pressing. Elite cocoa beans are used as raw materials. The ideal temperature for the process is 45 ° C. The color of the oil can be not only light, but also cream, brown. At a temperature of 16-18 ° C, the product becomes hard and brittle, but already at temperatures of 32-35 ° C it begins to melt. For products made from cocoa beans, a pronounced chocolate aroma is characteristic.

Cocoa butter can be used in baked goods. This product often becomes a fatty base for cookies, cakes, muffins, rolls and various pies. Also, cocoa butter is used to create creams. In addition, this product is a great substitute for coconut oil.

Quite often, cocoa butter is used not only in the manufacture of delicious desserts, but also in other dishes and delicacies:

- drinks
